Picture 4 and Picture 5 - I think the force is strong in this one :)

Also, for a square house there's some crazy angles in some of the rooms ...

I couldn't live there. It would drive me mad not having straight corners! And there's so much going on - it's claustrophic.

Picture 7 - What is that on the bed? Bed stains are gross.

That's really quite nasty, it looks like someone's died there. I'd hate to see what that throw is covering ... Doesn't fit in with the rest of the house at all, it's really strange.

I think it's the bed of someone really tall with very greasy hair. :D

Sad, but I'm afraid even Brylcreem can't prevent a chap from becoming old and bed-ridden. :(

    Had to post this one.

If you ignore pics 2 & 12 it seems a nice contemporary place. Then look at those pics, it seems like a different house, totally different style. My eyes.

  • Although I've not searched through every post, I'm going to be bold enough to claim the "First Property Bought After On This Thread." :D

My in-laws are relocating to the South Coast from Cheshire, and when I was in the pub recently my wife waved a phone at me with the details of the property they had just offered on. "Hmm," I thought, "I'm sure I've seen that before..." Then I remembered - literally just the day before I had been reading about it on here!! The wife looked a bit panicked when I said I'd already read about it :rotfl:

There seem to be 2 categories of houses in this thread. There are the "Oh my god, how awful is that" houses, and the "Oooh, this is nice" ones. Fortunately (thank God...) this one came into the latter. I'm off to see it tomorrow, but the wife has already been. Very nice finish and down by the coast so all good really. It's not one of the insanely expensive ones, mind you, no lottery winners here.

... check out the lounge (esp. the curtains!) and the odd red line of tiles in the bathroom! Not my cup of tea at all!
