Aww, I've always wanted to live on a houseboat!
FIL says the cornish have a saying, 'happy is a man who doesn't have a boat'. He should know after living on a boat for many years.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -

I had eyedrops at the optician's today (the sort that widen the pupils for ease of examination, but leave the 'victim' dazzled) - the first photo (shocking pink flowers) was a bit alarming (woah! bright!); the out-of -focus white flowers little better (thank goodness Igamogam said the photos were out of focus - I was beginning to think it was me...). Still, at least the current owners are skilled gardeners - but I'm afraid the final straw was the instruction to WASH in the bathroom. I'm glad they told me.... Good grief:oThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
