Argghh! The curse of bland! Where have those lovely 30's fireplaces gone? Replaced by rectangular recesses in the wall that don't even appear to go anywhere. Sacrilege. They've even removed the hall so that now the living room has a door going almost straight onto the road. Give me the old house with the original fittings any day of the week.

Swirly carpets, garish wallpaper, pine kitchen and a bathroom that must be seen to be appreciated:

SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

I agree. But it won't look bland when those rectangular recesses are filled with candles, pebbles and twigs!0 -

That's a similar set up to my house - instead of sacrificing a bedroom upstairs, someone has tacked the bathroom onto the back of the kitchen.
It's been done on the cheap, it's definitely not up to today's building standards and part of the roof seems to be corrugated plastic.
I've just had a look on Googlemaps and the street layout is weird.
The terrace frontages are only accessible on foot and cars go round the back.
It's the one with broken glass on the back wall..... Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

Click on the Googlemaps link, it's the right hand property with the bare brick wall, the black 'front door' and the smaller of the two white garage doors.
The little note declaring that the pin marks the exact location of the property is incorrect. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
