I am on the fence with this one,.Love it. Probably best not to dig too deep in the garden though :eek:makes a fertile vegetable plot though
Sorry to disappoint, but that one had no space for burials. The new owner will probably need to invest in some blood, fish & bone after all ...plus all the wood ash from that fire!

Indeed, and the buyers solicitor should have established that fact as part of the conveyancing otherwise the new owner would be bound by the Disused Burial Grounds (Amendment) Act 1981.Sorry to disappoint, but that one had no space for burials. The new owner will probably need to invest in some blood, fish & bone after all ...plus all the wood ash from that fire!

Under which it is the responsibility of the buyer to maintain the burial ground and to ensure that facilities are made available available for family members and others to visit the burial ground, usually on prior notice. The purchaser would normally be bound by covenant to allow access to the public (on notice).
to avoid such incursions into your garden the buyer would need to make sure the church had removed the burials. The church however may not thank you for that since "the clearance of a burial ground is a very expensive project" in accordance with the exhumations provisions of the Burial Act 1857 and "should a large clearance be required then a specialist firm should be instructed" _pale_ ££££0 -

That's external wall insulation being installed (well, hopefully it's being installed and hasn't just been abandoned like that). The polystyrene boards you see there are fixed on and then a render or other decorative finish is placed on top. Most effective way to insulate a home, but of course more expensive than cavity wall insulation.Solar install June 2022, Bath

given the wallpaper in the rest of the flat and the drabness of the building I should think the bathroom tiles is the only thing keeping the occupants sane. Mind you the floorplan bears no relation to the external pictureScarletMarble wrote: »
Interesting EA business model, they only sell properties that look like them? My warped mind makes the connection between the EA's banner logo and the wallpaper - brown and patterned!0 -
