The 1st pic looks like Murder on The Firth of Clyde took place there, inside it looks more friendly.
Please tell me what the lad in the last pic is doing????
Measuring the garden? Setting up a zip wire to the water? Playing golf....:rotfl:
Comes with a bird as well!!!
Don't get excited guys, it's the feathered variety.
You may laugh, but ages ago, when we'd not long been married, my DW and I rented a self-catering villa in that very road! It could even have been that one. It was so cheap, we found we could afford a whole 2 weeks there.
The views from the villa were great. It was a brilliant holiday, because Scotland was experiencing a heat wave at the time. We swam in the lochs almost every day, and we didn't even see the famous midges.
I've no idea what the golden pheasant has to do with it, but the lad playing golf is to show there's a small course nearby. That picture, like the liner one, seems to be a stock photo.:)0 -
Did somebody mention Hobbit houses? Well have a look at this beauty!

Scotland was experiencing a heat wave at the time.
Scottish heatwaves tend to stick in the mind.
Easter 1971 for example. It was so hot I burnt my feet on a beach north of Skye.
The next heatwave was, err ......... erm ........
The real danger is experiencing one pre-retirement, and falling in love with my homeland. Don't do it! Skipping straight from spring into autumn is more the seasonal norm.

Save £100,000 (spend it elsewhere); still have an ever-changing sea view; live on the far more convenient mainland; & own a flat on a road with a realistic name!

Possibly one for Toozie
That is beautiful, only for my summer retreat though!!!!
Then I don't want to be bothered with walkers.
Trouble is you'd never get your washing dry outside there!
Think it's been taken off the market, it's been removed from Right Move, and not shown under sold properties:j0 -

I concur, a fascinating site; & it's a bally crime that art installation is neglected.
Let me take over Britain. I would force Tracey Emin to live in it as part of her costly art appreciation course. I'd change a few other things too!
...............
In Scotland we prefer to understate the qualities of a property.
This one for example appeared in Stanley Kubrick's 2001
