It looks picture postcard/chocolate box-y but pity the person sleeping in Bedroom 2. They are so spoilt for choice in the search for a toilet in the middle of the night.
They could leave the room, go downstairs, go through the Dining Room, through Bedroom 4/Study and through the Utility Area to find one of the bathrooms or go across the landing, race through Bedroom 1 then Bedroom 3 which has its own flight downstairs, go through the Study/Pantry in through the Study and find the other bathroom or leave the room, go downstairs, race through the Sitting Room, through to the Study and through into the Bathroom.
Seriously, how many Studies does a Yeoman's Hall need? Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

You get used to it. I have a 300 year old thatched cottage, and I have to leave the bedroom, walk along the landing, go down the stairs, walk along the front hall, walk through the kitchen, cross the back hall, and finally enter the bathroom!
In other news, do you think the vendors of this one like dogs a little?

This is a wine cellar!
I know it because I spent half of April in one in a village in south Moravia.
It was a tough assignment too, but blending has to be done by somebody.
I was answering a call for help & felt a strong sense of obligation to my ex-neighbour who had returned to her homeland .... cue the halo.0 -

Q: is it standard brick and tile construction -
A: no - ancient timbers and a thatch roof :undecided
Q: does it have 5 lever door locks and secure windows?
A: no, the locks were made by the local blacksmith in 1538 and can be opened with a bent hatpin. The kitchen window does have bars on it though
Q: do all stair rails have a minimum gap of 100mm between the railings to stop children falling through
A: no, but there is a really flimsy closed off gap to the side of the stairs which the kid could fall through instead
thank you, your annual premium will be £1 million0 -
Luckily when Google were around it wasn't a summer Sunday. That quiet looking country road is a mecca for speeding motorcyclists and it often jammed solid. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
