I was going to say the same, but using guttering, natural sunlight and courtyard walls.
Hanging stuff on balconies is frequently verboten in complexes like that, due to H&S and a suspicion that it might soon extend to drying smalls.
But drying smalls can easily be dealt with on a balcony anyway. I soon got told in a previous place that "We get clotheslines by putting hooks in the balcony walls underneath See Level" and running clotheslines across between them. That didn't take two seconds to arrange..:rotfl:0 -

I love the house, but it looks like someone really loves Rachel Ashwell's shabby chic style.
Did you notice the quaint toilet seat and cistern covers? I'm surprised there wasn't a crinoline lady loo roll cover too.
Also, the kitchen units don't match the rest of the house. They should have been painted white with maybe shaker style doors.0 -
