Green and Blacks dark chocolate (ha ha eat this in preference to ordinary not as a substitute for proper food though),apricots,leafy green veg, wholemeal bread,chick peas (dont forget dried ones HAVE to be boiled for minimum 12 minutes or will make you ill),drink orange juice with meals to aid absorption0

With both Spinach and Chocolate in order to make the iron absorbable you need to have Vitamin C in the same meal. That will double or even triple the amount of iron taken up. Spinach and Swiss Chard are VERY easy to grow and one pack of seeds will if the leaves are picked regularly, keep you supplied for months on end. I'm still picking from the rows I planted last year. They should have been frosted off but are still going strong.
