Hi..is there any difference between DVD-R and DVD+R? I'm getting a new pc and understand that XP comes preloaded and I have to make a bootable install cd but dont know which ones to buy...

I would get what ever is cheapest , doesnt make any differance if your just goning to use the dvd's in you computer, just dont get DVD-RAM discs unless you know your drive supports them.0

My computer disc drive takes any,but my home dvd player doesnt play dvd -r.So i try to buy the Dvd +r0
