I am in need of some new crutches and about a month ago I spotted a lady with some nice looking coloured ones. The top tube was pink the bottom part yellow and the hand grips was i think green or turquoise blue.
I thought hers looked really cool. Does anyone know about these and where you get them from??

There's loads of jazzy ones on the net, just search for designer crutches or bespoke crutches. They seem pricey though.Herman - MP for all!

I love the crutches at lemonaid, they have bags and different hand made designs. Unfortunately its USA - whether she delivers to UK I have no idea. Worth a look though for the fab designs she does. http://www.lemonaidcrutches.com/aid.html“How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.”0

There's Kate at Chic Aid http://www.chicaidcrutches.co.uk
Or if bling is your thing then there's Debbie at Glamsticks http://www.glamsticks.co.uk
The last one I know if is http://www.indeaids.co.uk/
I have a pink pair and a purple pair (bought from Chic Aid - Kate is excellent) and I love them so much. When I'm not bed bound, I want a pair of Glamsticks
There is no point in buying them just now but when I'm able to go back to college, I'm going to reward myself with a pair of the blingy ones!
Hope that helps.0 -

Hi pinkmouse I have looked at chicaid but i cannot seem to make the sticks two tone. I am looking at the kowsky range.
I have now had a look on the main Kowsky website and you can actually configure your sticks and it shows you the final design but on the chicaid website I can't seem to customise the style
The lady I saw her sticks looked so distinctive. I really wish I had plucked up the courage to go over and ask her about them.
I don't know about other people's view on this but I am always curious when I see another stick user to hear about their problems and how they overcome difficulties.0 -

I got my turquoise ones from here. They are true ergonomic handrests too which are amazing. I don't think they have them on the website but they are very helpful, so will probably email you details of what they have. I know they will post them out as a friend of mine from Devon bought a pair similar to mine.
I also like the fact that buying from them I am supporting a company that exclusively provides work for people with disabilities.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break
