0% purchases abroad?

Hi, I need a 0% purchase abroad credit card for October. I've just got a zero card from Santander but it's only given me a £500 credit limit which isn't enough.

I went for this one as it offers 6 months interest free on purchases. We want to be able to take a credit card away with us to use for purchases and then use the holiday money we've saved to pay off the balance when we return.

If we do end up spending more than we expected we would like that bit of extra time of 0% to pay it back. That's why we chose the Santander card, but the credit limit is too low. I have contacted them to see if we can have an increase and am waiting to hear.

Any suggestions? Hope I've explained it ok, I confuse myself sometimes!

    Yep, perfectly clear!

    Try PO http://www2.postoffice.co.uk/finance/credit-cards-loans/credit-card
0% loading, but only 3 months on purchases.

After that, you're a bit stuck really. You either have to go for a loaded card with a good purchase deal (eg Tesco), or consider Halifax Clarity (not loaded) but then pay a BT fee to shift the balance to a 0% Balance Transfer card.

Oh and I believe Metrobank offers a 0% loaded credit card to its existing customers with some kind of intro deal.

I doubt whether Zero will raise your limit so soon after application.
