I have entered hundreds of competitions, and have only ever won 1 thing, and that was weeks ago!

How do you all do it? Do you have any tips?

I enter about 1000 a week and won £1000 worth of next vouchers the other week. Consquently I haven't won anything in 3 weeks. Its swings and rounadabouts. Keep at it.

It was a spa day for 2, so quite good for my first win!

I enter 250+ a day
I average about £300 a month in prizes - last month was my best ever with over 35 wins worth over £7,000 :-)

The more you enter the more you win - I have most luck with instant wins/hourly/daily comps and facebook/twitter/blog comps.

I haven't won anything in about 5 weeks which was a coca cola fridge , which STILL hasn't come yet lol .

I started over a year ago and only won a wii this year recently from oreo lick race. They called to say I won a mario kart wii bundle on 26th July. I then got a call today from them again saying I won a black edition sports resort wii too as I had entered again but upon checking the T&C it was only one win per house hold! Unlucky me to win on the same comp twice lol! SO thats it for me... a wii and a pair of dr pepper pants lol!! I enter about 100-250 a day depending on how much time I have and I'll keep going! It's fun :-)

Your a newbie, try entering hundreds a day for years and never winning big. Sometimes people are lucky and sometimes they aren't

Somebody has to win if the competition is fair and honest.

I guess most free compo's get thousands of entries so it is a shot in the dark.


I did win £50 from Samsung a few years ago on a (on an upgrade phone) christmas advent calendar compo, but they took 3 months to send it!!!


I've had some nice wins on the lotto and bingo but too few and far.


I've managed to get some freebie tickets by just being there at the right time or luck of the draw.

Just a question for the people who enter 100s per day - do you only enter from MSE? I enter all the ones I'm interested in and only end up entering about 30-50 per day. Do you enter nearly everything (big and small)?

Yasmin, you'll win something else soon - I'd love to win a spa break - one of those things I don't want to spend my hard earned on but would still love to indulge!

I have won a razor and a DVD boxset since I started comping in January. Ok, they are small, but the feeling is great and that is most satisfying.
