Travelodge

Can anyone help me? I recently booked two rooms in Edinburgh for myself and family and as part of the purchase asked for breakfasts. I no longer want the breakfasts (with two teenagers who won't get up before breakfast ends it seems a pointless excercise). I wnet onto their website to cancel, and it won't let me! Why is that? It clearly states if you want to ammend your booking click on this link, but when you do you can't change anything! Has anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks

when did you book for? what rate did you book? - you would need to provide quite a bit more info...
  • Give them a call and speak to them, far more likely to get it fixed.

I thought a Travelodge breakfast was a bag of cereal hung on the door handle at your chosen time??

Otherwise, if it's in a pub or something, just tell lazy teenagers that if they don't get up for breakfast, then there's nothing else to eat until MUCH later in the day, so it's their own fault if they get hungry!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

If you booked at normal rates, then you can cancel the whole booking (which would get your unwanted breakfasts cancelled) and start again.

But if you booked a non refundable cheap deal, then the ts + cs cover this:
If you are unable to use your booking, we will not give a refund on the booking, any extras purchased with the booking or any booking fee that you paid

Phone them and find out as some offers have a no cancellation policy

For the future, breakfasts at travelodges and premier inns seem to cost the same whether booked in advance or paid in cash on the day... so in the future, pay in cash on the day if you decide you want breakfast ;-)
