Send them a Section 7 data protection act request, they'll have to send you all the data for £10 then.

    Why do you need them?

A Data Subject Access Request might be a cheaper way.

Izools method is the cheapest, usually barclays have a fixed cap as to how much they charge, have you tried asking in branch some of them are quite generous enough to do it for just the £3 or even free.

Hi i work for barclays, and the cost for copy statements is 5.00, does not matter how many, it is one charge of 5.00. i would call back and ask to speak to manager if you are quoted 270..again, that is so wrong

Hi just say you have a friend who works in the call centre. i have been ordering these statements for customers for the past ten years, and even waivered the fee on occasion.;) i have been on holiday for the past 2 weeks, so it can only have been changed within the last 10 days. the branch staff are also very helpful when ordering statements, good luck, let me know if i can help further:)

You might find that all they will send you is reams and reams of print outs which are not in a format anything like normal statements.

If so, it will take you a while to sift through them to extract the data you need.
I think it is part of the strategy to make you give up and go away !

Keep at it - I got nearly £2000 back from A & L for my son - they did everything they could to be awkward, but I got there in the end :D
