Engineered wood flooring-laying?

Have been quoted £1600 to lay 36m2 of engineered wood as a floating floor, + fit skirtings (new) in one room, lift and refit in another, and fit a mat well in flooring in hallway.
Was initially quoted £1680 to lay in kitchen/diner, fit skirting there + fit kitchen-but flooring was to go in living room also (miscommunication I think-carpenter didn't realise this). Quote including kitchen fitting now £2780, so its an extra £1100 to do living room and hall (15.8m2 + maybe 1.5m2 max)
Its the extra bit that seems steep? or is that reasonable?

hi this is a bit too much. I asked my fellow carpenter who is flooring mate and he said you get ripped off if going for this.
Cheers:-)0
