Looking for a car loan

Hi StuTheDon. Being without a car for me is like walking without a leg, so I have one already. The plan was to get an "upgrade" with a help of finance. I know it would be more expensive but this is the way I deal with it, when buying cars.
I have no issues paying off my debts. I have been using banking products in various forms and sizes for 10 years now, without any single issues.
It is a matter of psychology - I don't have to save, so it does not come easy. When I got a loan though, I have to pay it off and there's no excuse for that.
Anyway, it looks like I have no way to get a decent finance, so I am giving up on this idea right now. As mentioned before, I have a car and it runs well, so there is no pressure to change. Maybe it is the time I could start developing a great skill of saving. :-)0 -

Why don't you just lease a car for the period of time you expect to be in the UK?DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

skintandscared, I will consider that option as well. Thanks for a hint. I have to admit it sounds very sensible.0

Well, you could have a REALLY nice car, just pay pretty much what you'd be paying for a loan anyway, and hand it back when you're ready to jet off
It's what I think I'd do. DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244
