Hotels dot com misleading description

Hi all

I have just arrived at a hotel I booked, in Marrakesh, on hotels.com.

I chose this hotel because it was located only 1.4 km from the Market and only 500m from a kasbah. This was detailed in the description and on the map provided.

On arrival I've found that the hotel is over 7 km from the stated location, so 8.4 km from the Market.

This is a real problem. We had planned on walking to the market each day and we chose the hotel primarily because of it's location.

We are now going to have to take a taxi each direction at £8 per journey. Over the 4 days we are here that's going to add up. There is also nothing in the surrounding area of the hotel. So we are forced to either stay out all day or eat here in the evenings.

I have phoned hotels.com and they told me to email them, which o hav done.

I feel I have been mis sold this hotel. Does anyone have any advice for me?
