ASDA Groceries Delivered

I ordered my shopping on through mysupermarket, and purchased from ASDA. In my shopping I searched for some lamb chops, and found some for £1.50 (quantity 1). It transferred to ASDA's website and the price was still the same.

When the delivery arrived, I noticed the price (at least £9 more than expected). I assumed that the promotions I selected when ordering have expired today and I have been charged the standard price for most things.

When the delivery driver had gone, I checked the receipt and noticed that the lamb chops were £9.50! It says I ordered 0.100Kg, but received 0.634Kg..

I don't understand this and I'm not sure what to do about it.

You either misread or didnt read the website - the lamb chops are £1.50/100g (£15/kilo). The price you paid is accurate for the quantity you received.

As above, the price would have been per 100g, so an pack weighing 0.634kg would be £9.51.

If you wanted to pay £1.50 for 100g, then you have still paid the same price, just 6 times the amount, so freeze some!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I can see that from the receipt, but on mysupermarket.co.uk, it was marked as quantity rather than weight, even after the trolley was transferred, I wasn't notified that I would be charged this way.

I'm going to enjoy these anyway :)

Complain to the store and they may give you a goodwill voucher.

Lamb Chops are nice but £9.50 worth from Asda seems excessive to say the least!!

I called ASDA on the freephone number and told the advisor exactly what had happened.
He said that it's probably because that was the closest matching weight to what I had selected, but given that I had ordered through quantity rather than weight, I will be refunded £9.50 :)
