Chest freezer

Hi all, probably a really stupid question but................i want to put a chest freezer in the spare bedroom upstairs as theres just no room anywhere else in the house, are there any issues with this or not? The floor is carpeted and the room does get quite warm in the summer however probably no warmer than your average kitchen would i guess.

Any advice welcome.

I do not see a problem with that.

No difference than if you put it in a warm kitchen.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

I thought the same, maybe be best to station it in some kind of plastic base incase of leakage / breakdown etc save ruining the carpet
