How do they know you're a vegetarian? Do they know you personally, or do you walk around with a sign hanging around your neck? :rotfl:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090

Precisely! That is what makes it so outrageous to be handed meat when it's reasonable to expect that everyone knows you're a vegetarian! It's like giving a recovering alcoholic a two for one cocktail voucher. Actually, it's worse than that, it's like giving them a taster sample of the cocktail itself! Except this is more offensive, because at least alcoholics want the booze on some level!
So you you have a loyalty card with the crisp manufacturer? Tesco select what offers to send you based on the information they have.0 -

They are easy to recognise. They have pale skin, wear sandals and three quarter length shorts. Both sexes have beards, and they all carry O.S maps of the country with every right of way marked in red crayon.
Oh - and they also have no sense of humour.0 -

These marketing departments have a lot to answer for with all this trickery going on...."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
