wow some lovely makes, making my mouth water! Thankyou for the replies, i picked up some chocolate coins for my pots of gold today- will wait for the festive scratch cards as more christmassy. Loving the fudge idea, they look yummy- might make some for my LO and OH's stocking!

If I remember right there are a lot of different types of sweetie vodka that have been mentioned in the Edible gifts thread and what people thought of them after they had tasted them... might be worth reading through?

Here are some pictures, of 3 different things I made last christmas for gifts.

Kitchen organisers: with instructions on how to make them here

    Reindeer Poo:

ES Mint Chocolates, that I put 3 into a cellophane pretzel bag and tied with ribbon:

and a scarf I knitted for me (but did another one exactly the same for my best friend's birthday earlier in this year):

2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Thank you - I am going to do another 'handmade' christmas this year, and want to try making fudge, and flavoured vodka, and have a couple of sock monkeys to make., as well as the usual pots of golds and different hampers, and some handmade cards for some of my family members.

That sounds like a plan :) I am going to make some fudge, any idea how long it can keeep?

Also plan on making snow an soup, pots of gold and some soap. The plan with the soaps is pretty basic, i have seen some silicone moulds in the £1 shop in festive designs, ones a snowman and the other is a christmas tree- im going to use smart price soap, grate it and melt it down and add green food colouring (for the tree) and set it in the moulds. I think i could make these soaps really cheap this way and even add some bits and bobs to make them more pretty if need be. The snowman im not sure on yet, obviously he will be pure white ( just soap) and i will add his buttons and what not afterwards.

CT -thanks for putting piccys up of the kitchen organisers..........I did some last year but not as nice as yours and as theres a calendar on them its not too bad if I repeat it as a pressie.
How long did it take you to knit that scarf ? I'm doing one for my son and it seems to be taking forever to grow...........lol
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
