I'm being sent about £2000 from Bank of America. Should I expect any taken out by charges from Santander? Or should I receive the full amount. If I remember correctly Santander are the sister bank of Bank of America.

Depends if they are sending you dollars or sterling.
If sterling so shouldnt get charges, But you need to check if it is going direct to your santander account or if it is going through an intermediary bank then your account. If thats the case the internediary bank will deduct some money as fees for using their bank. Unfortunately you wouldnt know this, I think the person sending the money can find out from Bank of America. If not only time you will know is when it reaches your account.0 -
Thanks. I know their sending me Sterling. Has anyone here had money sent from Bank of America to a santander account before?0

Ive not had money from Bank of America, but if was from a French account. Not charges from Santander but the intermediary deducted think it was £10 roughly.0

Ah so I'm not going going to lose some mass amount then. I'm being sent £2020. Its more of a one off fee and not a percentage?0
