Airport Taxi in Fuerteventura

Dear all, my family and I [2 adults and 2 children under 11] are lucky enough to be traveling to Fuerteventura on Saturday [6th], we are arriving at approx 18:00 and need to get to Sol Jandia Mar Apartments, does anyone know of a reliable and cheap taxi service?

I know it is all pretty last minute, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sanj

When we have been we just get a taxi from outside the airport. There are usually loads there. Not sure this is the cheapest option though.

Lucky you...we love Caleta in Fuerteventura...this is the first year in the last five we have n't visited. Quite a journey down to Jandia from the airport ...... over 50 miles I think.

It's over an hour's journey down to Jandia so that would cost quite a bit in taxi fares there and back. Why not book a transfer with resort hoppa (google them) - it would no doubt work out cheaper and you'd avoid the inevitable queues for the taxi.

It's probably too late for you now but we have used http://www.holidaytaxis.com/ for transfers at Fueveventura - reasonably priced and reliable.

Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.
  • Dear All, I have just returned and thought I would post my findings, you can take a number 10 bus from the Airport to the south of the island. Here is a link to timetable

    Bus company tel number 00 34 928 85 21 66

The bus is pretty quick, takes about an hour and half to Morro Jable, cost is approx 9 Euro's per person..

Same journey in a taxi would take about an hour and cost approx 90 Euro's.
