Not sure if you've had this one answered yet. But you there are several page refreshers out there for download.

    Here's one of them

Hope it does the biz for you

Not sure if this is a good idea. If you have a few thousand people refreshing pages every minute, it's really going to slow things down. Best to use the stock checker sites, as they scan every minute and show the results to everyone

When you say autofill - do you mean IE remebering form details or is it a seperate application?

I have a Google toolbar and have my details on that.

With the greatest of respect, this is complete rubbish! This will NOT slow down the servers of big online retailers. And the stock checker sites do not work that well. Most of them miss the boat by not checking frequently.

My advice is to watch this forum - there are loads of MSEers out there who are watching the websites and will let you know long before the stock checkers do.
  • Currys still have some bundles but they are still highly priced

  • Wii play in argos for for store reservation @ 5 past 7
  • Im not after a Wii , so i will pass on a little tip .

go to one of the sites thats showing it as O/O/S, and save that page as your homepage.

Everytime you open Internet explorer it will go to that page , saves you typing it in, or checking your faves

thats how i got my ps2 a few years back.

Thanks for the update - it's what this thread is all about, everyone watching out for stock and getting a good bargain.

However, there are very few Argos stores with any of these in stock. I guess their website will show availability even if there was only one Wii Play in a single store in the country.

You might get lucky - and see my previous post about checking the Argos site for returns and cancellations.

    Keep up the 'watch' though!

Oh....I have been given a reservation no. from the website. Does that mean there may not be one waiting for me when I go to collect it tomorrow???

Sorry - I took your post to mean that you had spotted the availability of Wii Plays at Argos. When I guess it was actually an anouncment that you'd reserved one.

That's the trouble with typed messages (including e-mails and texts). The number of times I've caused offence by saying one thing which was received another!

Great to hear that you're getting your Wii. And your reservation means that it WILL be there when you go to collect it (so long as you go before the expiry time).
