I had this problem last week, I rang them and gave them my card details as I hadn't received a confirmation and they looked it up and there was no order! I've got confirmation this week though so hopefully it all went through. Very strange system though to actually go through the whole process and not actually place an order - they need to sort that out!

How about checking with your card issuer to see if it has gone thourgh until you can get through to Argos?

To the person asking about dealextreme.com. I ordered from them approximately 3 weeks ago, the wiimote and nunchuk arrived yesterday but it only took that long as they were waiting for stock to arrive before they could ship. The customer service and the price was very good(i think i paid around £32.00 for both inc shipping) and they keep you informed about the status of your order, all in all very good service and would definately recommend.
