If you have rung them and have an order number you have one on its way, You probably wont recieve an email at all.

Do you really want to cancel it ? Im sure you could get shot of it on here no probs or even put it on ebay (may go have mercy on your soul )

Think What I am going to do is to give the customer service a call and find outt... what is happening... Been looking for a wii for ages.. Hopefully I will get them in time for xmas... ;-)

After being one of the lucky ones to get a wii console from Argos today I too searched the net for a wiimote.I managed to order one from
www.24studio.co.uk
Just to make certain I gave them a ring to check that they had them in stock.It says allow 14 days for delivery so it should be here long before christmas.

Yeah ordered one as well a few days ago, Apparently best hold your breath if you want it before Xmas no matter what CS says.

They have consistantly show in stock all this week, there back orders must be absolutley huge.

I am so glad i have found this forum trying to find a nintendo wii is driving me crazy,i have tried everywhere and plus i have signed up for stock checks this is really driving me mad all i am looking for is nintendo wii sports pack but i cant find it anywhere,my partner said dont worry try in january but then it isnt xmas then,ahhhhhh i feel like i am going to scream sorry for my rant.oh i am in the essex area if anyone can help that would be great thanks very much harm x

My order with Argos failed; another way to check is to contact your credit/debit card company as when I spoke to mine they said they get the information as soon as you have used your card, although other companies may be different

I ordered very early this morning. I called at lunch time as I still had not got a confirmation email and Argos said they had no record of my order despite me giving them my card number, post code and name etc.

I checked my bank and the money was debited!

All this and I sat back watching the post on here about Amazon when I thought I no longer needed one! Live and learn!

I've just bought my wii from amazon germany website. It cost around £175 including delivery to the uk. The only downside is that it comes with a german plug but it is easy to get an uk plug(charger) on ebay for under £5.
Seemed like a good option:T

I don't think Nintendo will honour the warranty in the UK, if it's purchased abroad... (or so they say)

be hard for you, they dont allow shipping to the uk

Hi guys,

Just called the CS at argos, they confirmed that they have my orders and will be despatch Friday the 8th of December... I think all I can do now is just to keep my fingers cross... till Friday...

Did any one else have any luck with theirs?
