The plug will be different,so you will have to get an adaptor.

The Australian plug is not the same as Euro plug so you will specifically need an Australian to UK plug adapter like this: http://www.mittoni.com.au/images/pa6035.jpg

I managed to be one of the lucky ones that purchased a wii on friday from argos, but i wanted to make sure that the Oz version would work before selling it on. Dont want to make any money out of it tho, selling it to a friend for her kids christmas. Hate how people are making so much money out of this shortage!!
