  • So what does everyone think with anyone who ordered with Woolworths - is there a Wii waiting for us or have they done an HMV on us?

they must be pretty sure/guaranteed they are going to get them or they wouldnt pre sell them....well thats what im hoping anyway lol
  • I would expect it is on back order as the delivery date they quoted was 10 December (2 weeks away) .In the past Woolworths have only sold Wii's when they had them.

Done a HMV. You will receive a wii question is when. Woolworths must of been allocated the stock to sell them so should not be too long. I think HMV is the 8th December.
  • Right everyone, i rang up the Woolies customer service line - put my order number in and it said exactly the same - back order - pre release and expected stock would be 10th Dec or before. If you think about it, if they had the Wii in stock, delivery would not be that long, so they must have a number secured for people who just ordered and that all would be delivered by that date.
  • Also, a mse has offered me a Wii at a tiny bit over rrp and i mean a tiny bit, what would you say is the standard postage price for the Wii, preferably Royal Mail Next Day?

The last lot they had said delivery 3rd Dec and they came ages ago so I guess they will deliver but not as quick as usual.
  • The date 8 Dec that was on HMV's website was the Wii release date of 8 Dec 2006. HMV didnt have many and most were pre-orders with them saying they hope to deliver by xmas but with no guarantees.
