If only people did not panic and get sucked up into the Wii hype.
Can't see it being a problem.
If they register with Nintendo using the serial number they'll get the guarantee.
Other than that, it's easy to say it was a gift....especially after Christmas...and they've been given the receipt so they can return it.
I've never seen a shop bother about matching names & addresses..they just want to see a receipt to check it was bought from there & they are not refunding something bought at another store.0 -
I just bought from ebay.de - from a seller who ships to uk, called besterpreisimnetz@t-online.de.
Has anyone had experience of this selle? All seems kosher but....
Also, was gutted thet I did this just before Woolies stated off this pm, but :rolleyes:just wondering about Woolies - they say will be delivered on/before 10/12. Surely this means they haven't actually got them yet? Hope people don't get disappointed0 -
Well I got one in my basket BEFORE they went out of stock but checked out AFTER! (needed to get my S-I-L'a address!).
I HAVE got an order number and email confirmation, though, so how likely is this to be cancelled?
Delivery 10th December - seems ages away....Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I am getting really fed up with UK 'big name' retailers taking orders when items are listed in stock only to find when the email comes through 'awaiting stock'
HMV - consoles
Viking Direct - Wii Play
Play.com - Wii Carnival
They are out of order!0 -
im a old school wii buyer, from when the times you could buy from amazon.de.
Now im wondering if its worth selling the import Wii with the 2yr warrantry on ebay, to fund a bundle deal that i might not play on..0 -
Anyone else who ordered from Woolies, got "awaiting security check" on their order?
