Because it weighs nearly 4kg, is desirable, and is worth a lot of money.

The only safe and insured way to send it is RM Special Delivery for £20.

i can actually understand the shipping prices if not the actuall sale price,i sold a dvd player on ebay not so long ago and it weighs approx the same as my wii(not for sale) and it cost £18 to post special nextday delivery with insurance at the post office,if you take into account the fact payapl demands all parcels shipped are shipped with a tracking number,and the packaging materials used it wont be far away,i would never post something on ebay without actually having some kind of traceable proof its been recieved for my own protection against fraud

What makes you say that eco123? Simply because you feel stock will become increasingly limited towards christmas and thus eBay prices will inflate?

1. Stock is already limited now (otherwise this thread wouldn't exist).
2. Stock will be much less before Christmas (people are buying like crazy already).
3. Nintendo will not supply sufficient units as the lead time required is too long.
4. Every year a when product gains favour the stock never shows up in time.
5. The Nintendo Wii was popular last year...why would they anticipate major popularity twice on the trot?
