Oh sh** !!! My partner just phoned me, they were only open in woolworths until 7pm, and there were 15 in the queue before him, the lady had to shut shop, so he has come from there empty handed, well it was worth a try!

It's getting to the stage I want a wii more than my son I think!! I need therapy!

Can you clever people, who are good at getting their hands on Nintendo wii's, give me some advice please, Im looking on this forum hourly, and the stock locator now and then! I think that's pretty much all i can do isn't it! is it just luck or can I do more???

I've been sitting here since Friday evening with very little sleep & only just got one. You need to open windows of all the places that are likely to get them eg John Lewis, Amazon.co.uk, Woolies & Toysrus & just keep refreshing them every cpl of minutes.

Reckon it down to luck - I keep checking all the sites for them and have email alerts set up to no avail - wish I'd bought one earlier in the year when we first talked about getting one. My nephew in USA has one (well actually he is on his 2nd one as house was burglaed and that was all they took!!!) and they are so much fun!!!! I spent hours playing on it with him and his sister as well as my sister when I was over in February. Still just keep on trying.

I received Wii Play this morning from GAME.

The game and extra remote are in a box, a bit larger than a VHS tape - the remote also comes with the remote rubber glove.... I didn't check to see if there was a strap as well though (I assume there would be).

Mine went from security check to passed security check - now it is back order, I had originally ordered wii + sims package but then the wii + Tiger Woods came in stock so I cancelled that (which had gone through ok) and bought the tiger woods one. Anyone elses saying back order? This is for a family member btw (but I'm keeping one of the games )

thank you both for your advice, I'll keep refreshing the suggested pages, I'm not so good on the internet, I have recently bought a wii from a sight called gamesgadjetsuk, but I'm a bit worried that it may me be scam site, I hope not anyway, also I tried Littlewoods online, but the delivery date was march and that a bit of a long wait!

Wish me luck, I wish you luck too, our childrens happiness means everything!

I like the earlier post about argos, the reserve function online won't be working and you have to look instore for stock, thats a good tip I think! although if yr unable to get out and about, it can get a little difficult!

Just checked my account and it says on backorder/pre release doesn't mention security check.
