Here's a question- would german games work on a wii? What I mean by that, can you select a language, or would all text in the game be in german?

Yep they would! I picked up a few games for myself when I was in France on Saturday - the box and instructions are obviously in french but it plays in normal english on my Wii.

The games play in the language you set the console to when you set it up.

It helps to know everything wii as I panicked & didn't understand what was included. I did query why it was a more expensive bundle & he never said anything about wii play & an additional controller being included & never mentioned sports but I assumed all came with that.

More research me thinks. Well done to those who got a JL one.

Its an OK offer from Woolies albeit all sold out again
They have had some Wii's in and have bundled a new game (Smackdown - wrestling) with an older game as they're probably getting rid of older game stock.
As someone has said already, Wii Play is like goldust too!
