Yes, I actually spoke to someone and she took my name and gave me a reservation no. If you reserve through Customer Services this way, it gives you a longer period of reservation, whereas online it give 24 hours, so it's much better if you can't hotfoot it down to the store straight away.

what options do you goto then? via the 0870 number all i get is the automated woman?
  • When you have rang the Customer Service no.0870 6003030 press option 4 and you will get through to someone to speak to - not an automated system.

  • Been hunting for Wii for ages for my sons 14th birthday late next week.

Turned up at Argos Extra (Edinburgh Way - Harlow) at 9am (when it opened) went to the machine and bought the only one in stock at £179.99

They told me they get one or two a day with deliveries

checked argos and have nothing coming into the midlands on their warehouse systems
  • Just a quick heads up for all those on the hunt for a Wii.

My wife is a manager for Blockbuster and they have been informed that the vast majority of their stores will be WELL stocked with Wii consoles by the end of next week.

There are literally thousands of these hard to find consoles coming into the country next week so DONT go paying over the odds for one :)

I am guessing that this is why Woolworths have started taking orders but stating that delivery wont happen before the 15th January :)

I managed to pick one up in Cheshire today and confess was going to list on ebay to recoup some of the £340 I paid for one before Christmas on there!

Seem to be selling around £260-£270 on there - why do I still feel guilty for ebaying!

They're out of stock now, so it could be that they'll get more in at the end of next week with the stock you mentioned.
