Ring the store direct (use the saynoto0870 website to get the number), they can then check stock and will tell you if there are any on the local area. If there are, they can reserve it for you.

I ordered mine from amazon.de on december 19th, had it on the 21st. all for £166 after converting from euros. had to change the plug and the instructions for wii sports are in german, but other than that, i'm delighted with the whole deal

I rang the Customer Services on 0870 6003030 and asked them to search in my area (North West). They can then look in all stores in that area - she quoted quite a few stores in Cumbria/Preston area that had them. She has reserved one for me until Monday 8th in a Liverpool store. Hope this helps someone to get one!

Yes, I actually spoke to someone and she took my name and gave me a reservation no. If you reserve through Customer Services this way, it gives you a longer period of reservation, whereas online it give 24 hours, so it's much better if you can't hotfoot it down to the store straight away.
