Haven't you heard of "rgb anaolog component video". And you must be very unlucky because my wii from germany came with an rgb cable and an rgd to scart adaptor.

The Wii stock is a joke.

Nintendo don't care about the UK. They are focusing on Japan and I think the USA still have problems with Stock.

They just don't seem to be wanting to sell them! Either that or they don't have the materials to make them....

Somebody at a local ASDA store said they might be releasing some about a week before xmas, but they also said it's unlikely because they just don't care...

What I can't understand why they have made an advert with Ian Wright and his son. Can't have been cheap.

It's easy to understand! People want one - make it a bit hard to get one - people want one even more, clever by Nintendo - keeps the price constant, don't have to reduce it at all (unlike xbox and ps3). Obvioudly, we brits and those americans are more open to the hype than the cool europeans as, when I went to europe recently, you can literally pick them up off the shelf. SO I guess there is NO shortage of the WII itself in production from Nintendo or else Europe wouldn't have plenty of them! I think there is just a shortage of the 'english' verion of the cardboard box and instructions!
