So whats different about the wii's from amazon.de when the uk ones?
  • First post on here, so be nice :p (although lurked for yonks).....

Can I ask if these are still like gold dust ? and really hard to get hold of ?

If you were to come across 3 of these in a shop would you buy them, keep 1, and sell the other 2 on some auction site ?

Why is it the ones for sale on some auction site, majority of them say collection available and they have the sellers id wrote on a scrap of paper on the picture, is this because ebay are pulling the auctions ?

Would it be worth getting an extra 2 to sell on ebay ?

    Thanks muchly.

They're still a bit elusive, don't last on the shelves of shops, but certainly seems to be regular appearances around the country.

I think the eBay buzz has gone for them, after fees you're not likely to make a killing or anything. Personally I loved the thrill of the hunt, and took it upon myself to find them for friends and colleagues :D

Collection available would be to encourage buyers who dont want to pay high postage fees (special delivery), and having the sellers ID in a pic would (I guess) be to prove they have it in hand and it's not just a pic nabbed from someone else's listing.

It's upto you if you want to buy more than you require and sell on ebay, alot of other people do it.

The sellers put their id's in the image to show they have the wii and haven't just copied someone elses auction image.

They are still in demand but not as much as they we're before christmas.

Has Play.com actually started dispatching any Wii consoles from their preorders going back to Oct-Nov last year?

Well I've had one on preorder for a friend (got my own one on launch day - yes yes.. i'm smug!) from LXdirect since 30th December and they're quoting me April now for delivery.....!! So if you do get yours, please let me know!

    Me too, 9th April I think, except I pre-ordered mine on 22/11/06!!

Shocking if they're selling themin different bundles and delivering in 2 weeks to people ordering now. I've only ordered the system and Zelda, I reckon the bundle they're selling at £260 is just the system and two games individually, and not all in a special pack.

May be the reason they've delayed my order is because they don't have any Zelda's? If thats the case why don't they send me the bloody system and either I'll buy Zelda myself or wait!!

Just in case anyone is tempted to preorder from powerplaydirect, I ordered on the 30th Dec and still no console, although I have got a RGB lead and wiiplay, which is as much use as a girlfriend without a puncture repair kit.
