I never thought about the power supply. What is it for the Wii? Just a figure of 8 or kettle plug?

germany uses the 2 pin plug if that helps. but at least it uses the same voltage.

Got mine from amazon.de - the only difference is the Wii sports cover is in German - apart from that it's completely indistinguishable from a UK version - except of course for the 2-pin plug, whack an adaptor on the end like this http://www.rapidonline.com/productinfo.aspx?kw=23-0160&tier1=Cables+%26+Connectors&tier2=Connectors+-+Mains%2fPower&tier3=13A+Plugs&tier4=Euro+converter+plug&moduleno=63627

When does everyone think they will be in stock so you can just walk into any shop and buy one.

I need another Wii, but its not urgent, all this hunting for the Wii has tired me out :eek: Is it going to go on like this for months...?

Does anyone know when John Lewis online will have them in stock again? Or is it best to check every day?

I'd imagine Nintendo will suddenly come up with lots of stock in March near to the PS3 release date

I just ordered one from Amazon.de.

with a nunchuk and 2000 wii points it came out at £194 roughly so I basically got the Wii points for free compared to UK prices. Also estimated delivery is 7th Feb which is fantastic.

No need to wait for UK stores to get them in, no more phoning around, shame they didnt have wii play in stock.

just been into asda, an the lady regonised me an asked if I'd managed to get a WII as they had 7 in stock!!!!

Thanks, have been looking for something like this for other electrical equipment I have with a 2 pin plug, there quite expensive at Comet.
