I would book it myself and do NYC first.

My thinking is that you can get a non stop to NYC, and from there a non stop to LV, therefore cutting out the stopover / change of planes if flying indirect to Vegas. Indirect of course is usually cheaper.

Kayak / Opodo both have multi flight options, used both several times, no problem.

Kaya was really useful but I will definitely try some others. I did it going NYC - LV - LON but the last leg was via San Fran, am quite tempted to reverse it so we do the longer leg first!

All I can say is do not use Virgin for a 2 centre. Did this once and was a massive nightmare, they are totally incompetant. I repeat DO NOT use them!!

you can do multi city on american airlines website, expedia etc.

Try Trailfinders for the flights - you need to phone them rather than use the web. They'll give you a quote and you can compare with whatever else you've found.

That's not a bad price actually. I think there is a good chance we could do it for less than £1,000 each as I am am not overly fussed about staying in 'nice' hotels, can't see we would spend much time in them but I might try a couple of package operators just to see.

Thank you all for your tips etc. Our last few holidays have cost in excess of £1600 each plus spending money :o so I am trying to justify this one as being 'cheaper'!! :rotfl:
