Travel Insurance for Young Adult

Hi
I'm trying to find travel insurance for my 20 year old daughter. She is off to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria in September, which I believe is a bit of a party resort.
Every insurance policy seems to say that it doesn't cover anything alcohol related, I am worried that as she is likely to be going out to clubs etc and probably have a drink or two that if she did have an accident she won't be covered regardless of whether it's drink related or not.
Does anyone know of any insurance policy that would cover her?
Thanks
Jill

Think they all exclude alcohol impaired incidents.
This is as a result of a number of cases of people falling off hotel balconies, thinking they were Spiderman after a few drinks and/or some waccy baccy.
Would suggest that she also gets an EHIC card, to act as backup. http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad/countryguide/Pages/healthcareinBulgaria.aspx
I suspect that the Travel Insurers in the event of receiving a claim, will ask whether the incident was alcohol related. So in the event that she gets drunk and is injured after falling over, that she has an EHIC card just in case the Insurers don't want to know. Be aware that the EHIC will only cover state health services and not private. In some countries, Hotels are known to phone for private ambulances to take people to private hospitals, which is ok if Travel Insurers are dealing with any claim, but no good for EHIC.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
Stress to her she isn't insured if she's been drinking - point out that should she end up in hospital after any drinking alcohol and you have to go and see her/sort out her repatriation etc it will all be at your great expense and you would expect her to repay you.
In short, she should take responsibility for her own actions!0
