Barclaycard Suspense Account

Just discovered I have paid a significant amount of money from my current account to an invalid Barclaycard account number.

This happened 2 days ago, and the money has not bounced back to my current account. Barclaycard say the account number is invalid, so I can only assume my money is being held in a suspense account.

Until I can speak to my bank tomorrow, can anyone tell me how long it will take for my money to be returned to me? Will it definitely be returned?

    The funds may not automatically be returned to you the bank may wait until someone such as yourself claims it.
