Cheapest hot holiday end sept?

hi all, have been doing some research for the hot but sheap place to go on a quick getaway around the 27th sept until the 5th oct, any suggestions? dont really want to spend more than £150 pp, and its only me and my partner going. Would like to relax on a beach, go in the sea and come home with a tan! I have read spain is ok for that time of year but was wondering from people who may have gone that time of year? We would be departing from any london airport and would prefer self catering as this would prob work out cheaper (we dont really drink) we are also both aged 24 and 25, so dont mind a walk to the beach but would not like to be near nightclubs if poss. Hope someone can help thanks :)

Also Mallorca a bit risky weather wise that time of year. You stand a bit more chance on southern mainland Spain but no guarantee that you will get decent (hot/sunny) weather in late Sept, early October in Spain. If you do choose Mallorca there are a few local websites for self catering where you can deal direct with the owners rather than going through an agent but as a start suggest you look at flight only prices as your budget may just cover the flight price only!
  • Look at Tunisia, that's where we normally go and at the end of September it's still nice and hot, it's cheap when you are there but not sure if you will get anything in your budget.

Tunisia prices have jumped up a fair bit , Morroco seems a cheaper bet
if you are just looking for a beach, get a apartment and book cheap flights

Canary Islands are usually hot and sunny at that time of year. I would look to book your flights and a cheap apartment seperately to get a better deal than a package holiday. Try one of the holiday rental websites for apartments. I managed to get an apartment in Tenerife for the 17th October for 1 week for £279, that's for my two boys and I. Not sure where you live but I found flights from Bournemouth for us at £110 each including luggage and taxes etc. I know that is slightly over your budget but the apartment is right on the seafront and there are cheaper ones available!

    Good luck

I agree that if you book normally then Tunisia prices are high for the holiday it's self, however, a last minute All Inclusive week may not be so far off budget and once there it's a hell of a lot cheeper than Eurozone or Canary Islands and bear in mind that in the Canary Islands it's likely to be Self Catering on that budget. Personally I still think Tunisia is the place to look, yes it may cost more to get there but you will need a lot less spending money, last year we stayed AI for 2 weeks in September, 2 Adults and an 8 year old, took £1200, did some trips, a bit of shopping and ate out a few times, we came home with nearly £600.
