Oyster help!
Hi guys, basically i am a student (20 years old) and have got an internship in London. I basically have to travel from zone 4 to zone 1, monday to friday and my work timings are 9-5 so will be leaving at around 8 in the morning. I have a 16-25 railcard. What would be the cheapest way to travel there and back? I've also heard of this 'New Deal' offered by the govt but don't know if I would be eligible for it. Also as I don't go to uni within London, does that mean I cannot get an 18+ photo oyster which has discounted travel?
Thanks
Thanks

your 16-25 railcard will get you nothing. The new deal card is only available to those who have been claiming JSA for 6 months or more.
I doubt very much whether you will be able to get the 18+ student card either but go visit the oyster webpage to find out more about that as im not sure. But, as it is an internship and you want to impress, make sure that they have not mentioned this elsewhere already.
In my experience with internships, season ticket loans are not commonplace; they only really seem to apply for full-time employees.0
