We have a pet kitten, 5 months old we have had her about 4 weeks.
We now have a flea issue!!!! She hasnt been out so im assuming we've brought them in?!
I have frontlined the cat, bleached the bathroom and moved her into there.
I have started upstairs, removed all bedding curtains cuddly toys and am in the process of washing and drying the lot. I have hoovered everywhere inc. under furniture mattresses and beds.
I will use acclaim spray in a bit to try and eradicate anything left?
Is there anything else i need to do or should do to get the little effers from my house!
My skin is itching and i feel sick poor pus! x

calm down a bit & possibly take some anti-histamine for the itching0

I think the itching is totally psychological - hubby has lots of raised bites but me and the children dont have any! Hopefully he's more appealing.
I can't calm down! It makes me feel sooooo dirty lol!
I found some larvae i think in my clean washed dried and ironed washing! Hubs is now emptying all wardrobes!! - I have more washing than a laundrette!!!!

we have had flea infestations in the past and the best thing we have found is to use program for the cat and a flea fogger for the rooms.
Keep the cat well out of the way when you use a fogger and leave the house for a good few hours, then air thourougly when you get back in and wash any laundry that has been left out.
Just starting to get a few bites myself now grrrrrrr bloody fleas !!!You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
larvae - thankfully I have never seen these - or maybe one of the little darlings eats them (sorry but am both glad & curious at the same time). I did treat mine monthly for years & then realised that they didn't need it. Unfortunately new neighbours pets seem to have changed that situation now.0
