U can get it changed in two weeks, but I think it costs a bucket load. Look on the passport website, it should tell you. Tbh at this point you are probably better off booking the honeymoon in your maiden name.:T0

I would be sceptical about getting it back in time now tbh. As said above you have to get the registrar/vicar to sign a form (which you can get from the post office with the new passport application). It will be ok to go whenever as long as you book your tickets in your maiden name.
Passport advice line is 0300 222 0000 maybe you could see if you could pay extra to visit the passport office and get it fast tracked if you were really bothered? It's 77.50 for a normal passport which is a not-guranteed 3 weeks, 112.50 for a weeks fast track but you need to have had an appointment and 129.50 for same day but again, will need an appointment at your local passport office which you can arrange at the number above.Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -

A big thankyou to everyone for all your help, my passport has another 7 years left on it so i will booking any future holidays in my maiden name until my renewal. lol.
