Is the Standing Charge also fixed

rustyone

Hi all, new to this forum,

I am looking to switch from BG to EDF's fixed 2014 plan, as it works out just over £120 cheaper.

However, EDF's plan has a standing charge, i know the fixed plan will keep the elec & gas rate fixed but does this also apply to the Standing charge element?

Suppose im just worried that EDF in an effort to compensate cheap elec & gas they keep increasing the SC element.

Any advice would be great, hope to switch today before plan gets pulled.

Why not switch now, then get your questions answered during the cooling off period? They say the tariff is only available for a limited period!

(The standing charge is fixed)
