Annual Travel Insurance - Ski and Scuba

Hi people, I'm looking for some help trying to source appropriate travel insurance. My OH and me are getting married and going on our Honeymoon in September. We've both passed our PADI Open Water diving course so we'll be taking part in some Scuba whilst we're away (multiple dives). Aside from this, some time next January we're planning to go skiing, so we thought it would be a good idea to go for an Annual Insurance policy which covers both activities.

Can we find one?! Clear as mud! Can anyone recommend or confirm which companies offer an Annual policy which will cover us for both activities.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for this, but it seems a little limited. There are no options beyond Winter Sports and 24 cover. This would be great if you could tailor the needs a little more, but for £270+ it's very expensive! I recognise we're taking part in 2 "moderate risk" activities, but it doesn't warrant £200 for a policy.

Are there any other insurers out there who could accomodate our needs?

You could also Google the QuoteRack website, as they have a hazardous pursuits travel insurance section. The site passes your details on to specialist brokers who can find what you're looking for, so it might provide some background comparisons agains the one Andy L has mentioned

Scuba diving on holiday is the default cover, you only need the 24 hour cover extension if you want insurance for dive trips in the UK. Without that its just under £200 for the couple

Try Direct Travel. They have a list of hazardous activities they cover on their website.

Ah, but there's the problem, chances are since we're now qualified, we're likely to want to dive in the UK as well.

I guess it might be better/cheaper to organise some seperate insurance cover for the UK diving and just take the standard option?

tbh & imo the UK cover is of marginal use.

Medical fees/rescue is irrelevant as the NHS/Coastguard/RNLI/SAR is free
Cancellation, considering the excess, probably isn't worth it for a weekend away plus, if it was medical, you'd have to fork out for a Dr's note
Kit insurance is the only bit really worth it and you may have that through your houshold cover and if you're hiring kit then who cares.

In addition you may need to upgrade any life insurance, critical illness cover etc you've got as it may exclude diving
