Gadget insurance

We have quite a few gadgets (camera, tv, home cinema etc) in the house for which we took out the insurance to go with them (pc world, comet, currys etc) I'm pretty sure I am paying over the odds and wondered if there was a company who could insure them all. Obviously we would like similar cover (repair or replace etc) Can anyone help?
Thanks

Ask your own house contents insurer if you can cover them with the contents insurance, mine are all covered with my ins. with the Coop.

Insurance bought with the item is normally also a warranty and therefore would cover breakdown which your home insurance will not.

If you have a packaged bank account then check to see if you have free gadget insurance through that.

Sorry, i misunderstood, my post referred to loss, stolen, damaged accidentally, etc.

Obviously the insurance you have covers for breakdown.

I thought i had seen some advert on tv about insuring your gadgets. Shame I can't seem to find anything that will cover all my goodies in one policy. Any other ideas?
