Hotels in Brussels

I've been looking at the map and it's a huge place.
Can anyone recommend a hotel? Staying just 1 night, so which is the best part of the city to stay in where most of the sights are accessible without too much transport?
Cost isn't so much of an issue, I'm thinking of just booking the #1 on Tripadvisor (Sofitel) unless anyone knows better......

Go for somewhere near a metro stop.
Brussels is very easy to get around by metro - it is a very simple metro - not like London ;-) think it is one main line that has a split on the end destinations. It is only a fairly small city but plenty to do and see.
I explored when I stayed with my brother as a teenager during the summer holidays. I love the Woluwe Shopping Centre - the metro takes you straight into it and on the opposite end of the line you have Brupark/Mini Brussels/Heizel Stadium as it was/and a massive 30+ screen cinema.
The Grand Place you can't miss - but you will probably get lost around there as it is all little cobbelled streets - but that's the best way to explore!
Sorry I can't help with a hotel but hopefully this has been of some interest to you. Have a great time - it's a lovely place.:)You're my wife now Dave.......0
