change of use - block map / site map

hi does anyone know how i can get a block map and site map for free? i can only find companies that provide these at a cost. iam submitting a change of use application (which is stressfull enough with no help or advice available) at a high cost to me and cant afford this extra. the council state it needs plan dimension, direction of north, scale and paper size ???? thanks

    You should be able to get a copy of the large scale OS map (1:1250 for planning) at your local library for the cost of a copy/printout, 20p or so. You will have to sign a declaration that it is for private use or study so depends how strong your morals are?

    Otherwise you can get copies for about £10 - £20 online
  • ok thanks. do you know the company that charges £10? i can only find companies that charge £30-£33 for one map and its not even the right size to include the access to the highway so will have to purchase 2 maps. £66 :eek::eek:

    The costs start at around £10 depending on size and scale so may not be big enough for your site. Have you tried the planning portal website? They have a link to 4 sites providing site plans, I think Streetwise is one of the cheapest/easiest.
