My leather sofa is 'stuck' inside previous rented property!

    Do you know a couple of strong people who could take the front door off??? Seen it done and does not look too bad a job. Was still a tight squeeze to get their sofa out but it did the trick.
  • I think that this is the responsibility of the LL. He/she changed the doors and caused the problem.

    Removing a DG glass panel is easiest. However, DG fitters may charge a premium due to the risk of it being dropped/cracking - especially for a a long rectangular pane. They might do it cheaper for cash (!) if you or the LL accept the risk.

    Would you be prepared to sell the settee to the LL? May be worth asking for an offer as future tenants are likely to have similar problems.
